Thanks for visiting NextLocalOwner.com. We’ve kept this page short and in plain English. If something’s unclear, feel free to reach out.

About this site
NextLocalOwner.com is operated by a New Mexico-based buyer focused on acquiring established small businesses from owners who are ready to retire. Nothing on this site is an offer to buy a specific business, a guarantee of price, or a commitment to enter into any transaction. Any deal only happens through a signed written agreement.

Not financial, legal, or tax advice
The information on this site is general and educational. We’re not your CPA, attorney, or financial advisor, and nothing here should be relied on as financial, legal, or tax advice. You should consult your own advisors before making decisions about your business.

When you submit the form
When you fill out the contact form or call us, you’re starting a conversation. It does not create a contract, legal relationship, or obligation on either side. Either of us can end the conversation at any time until a written agreement is signed.

By submitting your information, you agree that we — and those working on our behalf (assistants, advisors, or team members involved in evaluating opportunities) — may contact you by phone or email regarding your inquiry.

What we do with your information
We collect the information you provide (name, phone, email, business type, and location) and anything you choose to share with us. We use it to evaluate potential fit and communicate with you.

We don’t sell your information or share it publicly. We may share it on a need-to-know basis with trusted team members, contractors, or advisors (such as assistants, accountants, attorneys, or lenders) solely to evaluate a potential transaction. They are expected to handle it confidentially.

If you request deletion of your information, we will do so, except where retention is required for legal or tax purposes.

Confidentiality
We take confidentiality seriously and expect to enter into a mutual non-disclosure agreement before exchanging detailed business information. That NDA is a separate agreement and governs confidentiality.

Before an NDA is signed, we will handle information with care, but cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality. The NDA is what creates legally binding obligations.

Deal descriptions
Any descriptions on this site about how we structure deals, what we look for, or how we operate are general in nature and not promises. All terms are defined in the final written agreement.

What we don’t do
We are not a business broker and are not licensed as one. We do not represent sellers, list businesses, or earn commissions. We are a direct buyer.

We don’t provide formal referrals to brokers, lenders, or advisors through this site. Any mention of a professional is based on personal experience and should not be relied upon as a recommendation.

Analytics and site usage
We may use standard analytics and tracking tools (such as cookies or similar technologies) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve our marketing. These tools may collect information about how you interact with the site.

No guarantees
We aim to keep information accurate and current, but the site is provided “as is.” We’re not responsible for decisions made based on this content.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site or pre-agreement discussions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us — which is zero.

Ending the conversation
Until a written agreement is signed, either party may end discussions at any time, for any reason.

Changes to this page
We may update this page from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept any updates.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
